Police searching for van involved in abduction, assault

CRANSTON, R.I. —Cranston Police and Braintree are investigating an assault and abduction that happened on Tuesday afternoon.

If you have any information related to the incident, which originally occurred outside YD Nails and Spa in Cranston, you are asked to call the Cranston Police Department at 401-477-5143.

The victim was abducted outside the Spa, assaulted and taken to South Shore Plaza.

The woman was taken to a Massachusetts hospital.

Cranston detectives and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation have questioned the woman and are hoping for the public to add some more details.
