State police said about 20 cars were damaged by rocks thrown onto Interstate 495 in Raynham.

Police said the rocks were thrown at cars at about 10 p.m. Saturday near Route 138. Police said the rocks may have been thrown up onto the highway from a railroad bed that runs under I-495.

Police said most of the cars were struck on the northbound side of I-495, but two cars on the southbound side were also hit. Troopers found a debris field of rocks in the northbound lanes.

No one was hurt, but police said damage to cars and trucks was extensive.  Investigators said the damage included broken windows and windshields.

State police asked anyone with information about the vandalism to call the Middleborough barracks at 508-947-2222.

These kids now-a-days…nothing better to do with their time than to throw rocks at passing cars going 65-75 miles per hour!!!  Lucky no one was seriously injured!!

This actually happened to my dad’s wife about 5 years ago on 95 as well.  Near the Austin Farm Road over pass.  Also at night.  Busted the windshield and broke her arm.  I can’t imagine what it would have been like had the rock gone a few inches in either direction.  I shudder at the thought.

I know who it was….It was Semi Arffi. He was throwing stones the same way he throws his democratic views around on here.
