I wish no ill will towards any of the Kennedy’s, but I will never vote for Patrick Kennedy. You really have to pay attention to what he is doing, he is not a good congressman. He is a fortunate man, who rode on daddy’s coat tails into congress. That would be OK if he were effective, but he is not, time to go Patrick!
Dixon, Bravo!
I am more to the point but you explained it beautifully.
It is not what party you like to affiliated with but how this government is run and is it for the “good of the people”.
The good of the people does not mean lets do everything for them, it means insuring that all of us have the same rights and opportunities.
Only in America is this possible. You don’t see people wanted to get out do you?
If Obama has his way, there will be an exit out of here so find a spot where you can be happy under a dictatorship and move there.
My choice is Italy, a county that is a living museum like most of Europe and in itself and some of the best food you could ever want.
It took me years to understand that no one give you something for nothing. If it is free, there will almost always be a catch.
Government, religion all organized to control the masses.
I still believe in our government and I am also a religious person. One must look past the worst in them to understand their purpose.
In both, there has been more hate and anger than we will ever experience on this page.
GOD BLESS THIS COUNTY AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE AND STILL FIGHT FOR ITS FREEDOM AND THE FREEDOM OF OTHERS.
Kenneth …about all the expletives you mentioned and pointed at Joe. Cruel. Pure hate in there heart, no compassion, jealousy, throwing stones, addicts, coward, vice. On everyone of those adjectives I can show you a Kennedy! Robert Heron Bork was as fine a American as you proclaim you are.
Yes you are an American…..unfortunately a typical one. A blind patriot…blind to anything that doesn’t interest you personally. Blind to any party but your own. The Kennedy’s exemplify this thinking. Ted Kennedy sat for 47 years a career minded politician who in my mind (and I can say without hesitation is far broader than yours) has put this country in a state of deadlock not over the merit of an issue…but over party loyalty as we see today. In fact I would love to debate you on Kennedy but your few short words have already left you at a disadvantage and your idolization of them is so naive we would have know reference point to begin.
You a democrat.. I presume soaking in the belief that your getting the straight story from what ever broadcast station you tune into that tells you what you want to hear. Same as a republican.
OH…! did you think I’m a republican because I disagree with you. No I’m not a republican…I’m embarrassed ..that’s what I am …at how far we have drifted from the America that our forefathers gave to us to cherish! That we wage wars all over the world in the name of democracy as if were the poster child for it. (Kennethnkn. Before you start screaming republican let me finish) And…while Americana’s children are at war… our financial structure is stripped from our foundation by the same people who gave pac money to the individuals who were there to oversee it. Now am I yelling Democrat??? We are corrupt…maybe we didn’t mean to be. Maybe is was just to easy to be. Thanks to Kennethnkn and his idol worship of anybody who shows outward sincerity. Who doesn’t know the business of politics. But the Kennedy’s sure do.
And so do I…and it sounds like Joe does to. TERM LIMITS ON ALL GOVERNMENT POSITIONS!
You are absolutely correct, Joe.
Also, I am far from being perfect and I do have many skeletons in my closet but the difference is, I am not an elective offical nor do I represent anyone but myself.
There are standards that our elected offical should be held to and to the highest standards possible.
Making excuses for drug addition is not one of them nor the fact that the bum is a Kennedy!
Actually I am not a cruel person nor an Republican.
I speak of facts and Kennedy’s all of them are products of their father.
Read a little and you will understand what money can buy.
When I am in need of help, I ask GOD, not a Kennedy like some do.
This is what is wrong with America, vote because they are a Kennedy.
Wake up, Patches would not even be able to find a job in today’s environment; he could not pass the drug testing and yet we allow this poor excuse for an elected official to stay in office.
Some are destine to be bums others are to make the best of their lives; guess where he falls????????????
Have a wonderful love for the Kennedys’.
May your GOD love you for doing so!
They speak of people like joe in the bible people who have pure hate in there hearts no compassion full of jealousy like most Republicans.
Whatever Ted Kennedy did in his life good and bad will be judged by God not Joe or any other Republican trying to get elected by throwing stones when someone dies. This country has more recovering addicts or alcoholics and most of them are voters that want people who own up and say I need help instead of hiding and throwing stones like a coward like you Joe that probably go after little boys or some other vice inwich you are trying to deflect attention from like most Republicans do.
As for us real Americans we love the Kennedy family for what they represent in America a competitive spirit a get it done attitude, real compassion for the poor, sick and old, respect for others, fun and humorous, daring to take chances and push the boundries just to name a few.
This American for as long as I live will vote for a Kennedy because when I needed help Patrick was there not one Republican helped in my hour of need they were to busy throwing stones.
People can be so cruel…may those of you with no skeletons in your closets remain as perfect as you obviously think you are. Not a single one of us is perfect…not even you (hate to be the one to break it to you!). We should all expend as much energy showing compassion for each other as we do spewing hatred. We all have to answer to some higher authority at some point. I’d be very reluctant to throw any stones…
WELL SAID JOE!!!!
RIP MARY-JO!!!
What a bitter and offensive post, Joe.
I hope you don’t live in a glass house, and everyone in your life forgives you your trespasses. We all have things to overcome in this life. Unfortunately, you don’t seem to know anything about the ravages of addiction. The theory that if you have an addiction you can “Just say no” is far too simplistic. I applaud anyone who has the courage to admit to their shortcomings and work to change them. Maybe you need to do that as well.
RIP, Ted Kennedy.
