WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama flies to Boston on Friday to tour a research laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The lab is working on cutting-edge clean energy technology.

The president will deliver remarks at MIT challenging Americans to lead the global economy in clean energy and to highlight Recovery Act investments that the White House says are creating jobs and making advancements in wind energy.

While in Boston, he’ll also attend fundraisers for Gov. Deval Patrick.

Later, Obama travels to New York and a tour of a small business in Stamford, Conn. In the evening, he speaks at a fundraising dinner for U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd before returning to Washington.

Hello Kennethnk,

Being still in High School, I was wondering if you could explain how our Govener has left our state in ruin. I mean how did it happen? Don’t we have a Democratic majority in our house of representitives that can nullify his veto power?
