COVENTRY, R.I. – The students of the Coventry High School drama club are performing Emerald Man, a new rock musical which may soon be seen off-Broadway.

The musical was written by Motown and film songwriters, who actually scrapped the project for a shot time.

The show follows the lead character, a teenage boy named Duncan and is somewhat of an updated version of Don Quixote.

Emerald Man will be performed by both Coventry High School students and staff at the school auditorium.

The show begins on Friday, November 13 and continues through Sunday, November 15.

Admission is $10 and you can buy tickets at the door.
