Motorist alerts residents of fire

PROVIDENCE— A person passing by a home is getting the credit for helping people out of a burning building in South Providence.
Two people were hurt when a triple-decker on Bridgham Street caught fire at about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses say a passing motorist got out of his car, kicked in the front door, and started banging on the apartment doors.
