Woman makes eco-friendly lunch bags
Published: November 19, 2008
A woman in western Massachusetts is trying to changing the way we pack lunch.
Erin Kelly-Dill, of Plainfield, is the maker of Happy Sacks.
They’re sandwich bags, but they don’t end up in the landfill. They can be soaked, put in the washing machine or even the dishwasher.
Kelly-Dill creates the bags in patterns for boys and girls.
They’re sold in retail stores around the country and online.
