Men charged in shooting death

FALL RIVER, Mass. - Two men face charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old Fall River man.
Police said Charles Smith was shot Sunday night while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked on Fifth Street. Smith was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died the following day.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement that Jesse Eaton, 31, of Fall River, and Wigberto Sanchez, 28, of Taunton, will be arraigned Tuesday in Fall River District Court on felony charges connected to the shooting.
Authorities said the investigation into the killing is ongoing.
