BRISTOL, R.I.—Two members of the Rhode Island National Guard were honored Friday, four years after they were killed in Iraq.

The guard dedicated a memorial at the Bristol Armory to Sgt. Russell Collier and Staff Sgt. Christopher Potts, of Tiverton. They were killed in Iraq on Oct. 3, 2004.

Black granite blocks are engraved with images of the men and their names.

Potts was shot and killed when the patrol he was leading came under fire. Collier, the battery medic, was killed as he ran toward Potts to give medical aid.
