Memorial Hospital, Brigham and Women’s announce collaboration deal

PAWTUCKET, R.I.—Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston announced Tuesday a deal that would allow for the hospitals to collaborate on cardiology and emergency medicine services.
The agreement also includes Memorial Hospital’s campus in Plainville, Mass., where a number of primary care physicians are based.
The deal also provides for a smooth patient transition to Brigham and Women’s for cardiac care if needed.
