Man stabbed on Providence street

Police said a man was stabbed Monday night near Admiral Street and Douglas Avenue.
The victim was stabbed three times in the back and the stomach.
He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

Not only do the Portuguese have nice clean yard but most of them are very religious and they prove it by putting “Mary on the half shell” on their front lawns….no offense intended LOL 
Freak I have been saying this for years. When the Old Italian & Portuguese people came to this country they worked their butts off they did not expect hands out. They took pride in their homes & property. I live in an area in West Warwick where there are many portuguese take a look at their homes & yards all neat & clean. They are friendly will wave hi but for the most part keep to themselves & live a quiet life. If they can not abide by the rules don’t throw them in our jails send them back to their countries. Maybe if we had this law they would think twice.
I am sooo not surprised at all. The funny thing is i drove by there last night and there were tons of people all hanging out on the corner. I even told my son what a crappy neighborhood this turned out to be. Can’t anything be done to turn it around. ugh!!!
I agree with you both…I have lived here for years and years and i remember when it was a nice, peaceful, and humble neighborhood..Now it just straight out garbage no one cares about the streets. The properties look like crap. Its sad and i know these people have the right to live like we do and we respect that. so why don’t they respect us and keep our streets from looking the way they do!!!..
J9 you’re right. I always preach about the fact we have to pay for these people when they are in jail.
I don’t know what I was thinking we do need to send them back.
Freak1 - I agree but I think they should just be sent back…Putting them in jail would mean you and I paying for the scum to live!
These neighborhoods used to be great. They were mostly Italian folks and the people were full of pride. They took care of their yards and homes but mostly they looked out for one another. Now all these neighborhoods are full of RIF RAF and minorities and unfortunately this is what you get when you allow illegal’s in the country. We need to close our doors once and for all and focus on getting the rest of these people out or put them in jail where they belong.
