Man killed in motorcycle crash near home

A motorcyclist from North Stonington was killed Friday night just down the street from his home on Pendleton Hill Road.
Police said 47-year old-Christopher Hackett lost control of his bike, went across the roadway and landed in the woods.
Hackett was the former owner of Westerly’s MOJO records. He also played bass in a local band.
