PROVIDENCE—A Rhode Island man has been indicted on drunken driving charges in a car crash that killed a mother of six.
David Hazard was indicted by a Providence County grand jury Thursday on charges that include driving while intoxicated, death resulting, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
The 38-year-old Scituate man is accused in the April 7 crash that killed Katherine O’Toole, of Foster, who was returning from her job at a nursing home.
Hazard was earlier ordered to refrain from alcohol, attend counseling and agree to random screenings. His attorney has said his thoughts are with O’Toole’s family.

No prison will not bring the victim back. In this guys case it may save many more victims. This is not the 1st time and I don’t believe it would be his last. I hope he serves many days in prison.
thats so sad, putting him in prison will not bring her back, nobody wins.
