Man held in fatal car crash

A man accused in a fatal car crash in New Bedford was ordered held Thursday.
Police said Patrick Villa Nueve was driving with a suspended license.
Villa Nueve is accused of striking and killing an 87-year-old man Wednesday on Arlington Street. Investigators have not released the victim’s name.
Villa Nueve was being held on $3,000 bail at the Bristol County House of Corrections.
