A Coventry man accused of killing a Providence woman was out on bail for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Travis Garcia, 18, was arrested Monday after he crashed Jeannine Garcia’s car into a tractor-trailer truck in Clinton, Conn.

The 32-year-old woman was found dead in her Cathedral Square Apartment early Sunday morning.

There’s no relation between the two people.

Travis Garcia has been in and out of the ACI for violating the terms of his bail.

He’s being held without bail in Connecticut and is awaiting extradition to Rhode Island to face murder charges.

What moron let this guy out on bail.  Sexual assault on a teenager seems to require remand.  They will hold you for suspended license but let you out for abusing a child.  Ehat is wrong with this picture??????
