Turkey Hill recalls ice cream with peanut pieces

Turkey Hill Dairy of Pennsylvania is voluntarily recalling half a dozen ice cream and frozen yogurt items.

The products contain peanut pieces sold by Peanut Corp. of America, the current focus of the ongoing salmonella investigation.

The affected products include one-and-a-half quart containers of Tin Roof Sundae, Chocolate Nutty Moose Tracks Light Recipe, Nutty Caramel Caribou Frozen Yogurt, Peanut Brittle No Sugar Added Recipe, and Peanut Butter Mania Light Recipe.

The products were distributed to grocery, food and convenience stores in all New England states, as well as eight other states along the East Coast.
