Rhode Island State Police said they have found two computer hard drives that reportedly went missing from the mayor’s office in Woonsocket.

The computer hardware was reported missing last Friday.

Capt. David Neil of the Rhode Island State Police told NBC 10’s I-Team the hard drives were returned to Woonsocket police the same day.

Woonsocket police didn’t comment on the incident.

They didn’t because the drives were RETURNED to the police.  Could have been an employee—or an ex-employee, or someone who just thought the drives were supposed to be junked.

Hmmm, wonder why they are not saying WHERE they were found.
