Fire destroys North Kingstown business

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.—The owners of a family business in North Kingstown told NBC 10 that they are hoping to move into a neighbor’s building to keep their business up and running after a weekend fire on Dry Bridge Road.

The building that houses Atlantic Control Systems, a plumbing, heating and air conditioning company, and Montgomery Engineering, was damaged in the fire.

The owner says he lost seven trucks and warehouse.

The deputy chief says there were several explosions as crews arrived on the scene.  No word on the cause of the fire. No one was reported injured.
