PROVIDENCE—The cause of a fire in the Mount Pleasant section of Providence is under investigation.

Fire officials say wind gusts helped fuel the flames and made the blaze on Harold Street Thursday night, difficult to control.

The fire started shortly after 7 p.m. on the third floor.

Everyone in the home got out safe but the wind blew a piece of the aluminum siding off the house which landed on a high tension wire causing an explosion that sent sparks flying.
