Fire damages Barrington home

BARRINGTON, R.I.—An early morning fire on Friday damaged a Barrington home.
Firefighters were called to a home on Colonial Avenue at about 6 a.m. Firefighters said the basement was full of smoke and fire when they arrived.
Firefighters said they had to pull an elderly woman who lived in the house out through a window.
The cause of the fire remains investigation.
