Published: August 17, 2009
An Attleboro man is facing charges in a hit-and-run crash that injured a boy.
The Sun Chronicle reported that 20-year-old Jason Peters was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, injury resulting.
Police said Peters struck a teenage boy Saturday night on Route 123.
Peters allegedly took the boy and his brother home, but then took off when the victim’s parents came out of the house.
Police said Peters surrendered about an hour later.
The boy was reported in stable condition at Hasbro Children’s Hospital late Saturday.

I have mixed feelings about this kid. If you read the story he drove the injured boy & his brother home. He did not leave the boy in the street to die. He took him home and seems to have panicked when the parents came out. So to me he is not heartless.
stalked? lmao !!!!
you might want to look that word up there kiddo!
Some people are just too funny!!!!
“Stalked” lol
miko: “Wow you need to stop obsessing over other peoples actions”
Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black? B/c that’s obviously what you did when you stalked this guy on the RI defendents website….
No. He is NOT my son. My son is an AMERICAN SOLDIER who i am very proud of,thank you!
And a good day to you as well Mikojah464!
Summer
Lol you got me, good catch!
Wow you need to stop obsessing over other peoples actions and focus on the real problem, losers who attempt to kill and run…
Why are you so hooked on who Peters is? Is he your son or is he you?
Right person or not, the guy is a jackazz for leaving…
Have a good day Summer
Good luck with your OCD…
Mikojah464-you said you are never afraid to admit when you are wrong, so obviously you are wrong in accusing this jason peters with a drug charge. It’s obvious it’s not the same person. So if you are going to be nosey, make sure you have the facts straight and not accuse the wrong person. Jason Peters should NOT have done what he did and he must now face the consequences. An accident can happen to any of us, it’s just how we each handle the situation and you should never leave the scene of an accident no matter what!
It is totally inexcusable to hit a child (or anyone for that matter) and leave, and I have a hard time comprehending his actions. However, withthe controversy on here over Jason Peter’s prior criminal history, the person on the courtsri website was born in 1976 making him 33. Obviously not the same person.
It’s not the same Jason Peters. The Jason Peters with the record was born in 1976 which means he’s 33, not 20. Hopefully the kid he hit makes a full recovery.
Allow me to continue/elaborate on my last comment…
I care, to bad Peters didn’t…
I care…
