A 100-year-old woman was strangled at a Dartmouth nursing home, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office said Wednesday.
The district attorney’s office said the Sept. 24 death of Elizabeth Barrow has been ruled a homicide.
Barrow was found dead in her bed by a nursing assistant during a routine check of patients at the Brandon Woods Nursing Home.
The medical examiner ruled that the cause of Barrow’s death was manual strangulation.
The district attorney’s office declined to release additional information.

I don’t know what the heck they are gonna do if it turns out to be true that the 98 year old roommate did it.
Eye for an eye on this one, no question about it. Why pay thousands to keep him/her behind bars.
Imagine this is how her life ends after a century.
What a sad situation.
My sympathy to the family.
how sad, live to be 100 and then be murdered, in a nursing home yet…...
that is just wrong! OMG! who could eva have the cojones to do such a thing!!!!
So sad. I hope they catch the monster who did this. Takes a real big person to strangle a 100 year old woman. I hope you fry in he!!.
Wow, this kinda stuff makes me very hurt and angry! The evil scumbag piece of garbage who actually did a thing like this should be strangled themselves! They should not be killed but tortured until they are truly remorseful!!!
It is beginning to really amaze me what has been in the headlines lately. Abuse and murder of innocents. God rest her soul.
Are you serious???? Who would do such a thing….Wrong just simply wrong..my thoughts go out to the family.
