Police say a man lost control of his car and crashed into a tree in the front yard of a Coventry home.

COVENTRY, R.I.—An 82-year-old Scituate man was killed Wednesday night in a car crash in Coventry, police said.
Police said a car driven by Joseph Palin crashed into a tree in the front yard of 800 Washington St.
Police said Palin was seriously injured. He died at Kent Hospital.
Police said Palin was driving south on Knotty Oak Road and failed to stop at the intersection with Washington Street. His car struck a sign post and a parked car before crashing into the tree.
Palin was the only person in the car. No one else was injured.

wonder if he had a heart attack or something before he crashed into everything. Either that or he got very very confused. I feel very sorry for his family. But your right luckily he didn’t hurt/kill anyone else.
At least he did not kill anyone else. That seemed to be the trend for the elderly Mass drivers for a while.
Yeah, they really need to bring back Andrea Brody. The ratings jump about 20 points when she’s on the air.
I just want to point out some inaccuracies. The car did not go through a stop sign, it went through a stop light at a 3 way intersection. The car was traveling on Knotty Oak Rd not Knotty Oak Dr. Lastly, the car crashed into the front yard of a residence on Washington St Route 117. not on Knotty Oak Dr. Please Fact check before publishing.
