Court will hear Narragansett sticker case

NARRAGANSETT, R.I.—A date has been set to hear a federal court case involving Narragansett houses.

Nov. 17 is the date for arguments on Narragansett’s sticker ordinance.  That law allows police to put an orange sticker on a home that’s deemed a “party house.“

Tenants and property owners are subject to fines.

The ACLU and some college students say the stickers are a stigma and unconstitutional.
