A Central Falls city councilwoman is accused of drunken driving.CRANSTON, R.I.—A Central Falls city councilwoman is accused of drunken driving.
Eunice Delahoz was arrested by Lincoln police on Friday night. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense.

According to the police report, Delahoz was pulled over near Great Road and Smithfield Avenue because officers saw her “traveling on the double yellow line with two tires in the northbound lane and two tires in the southbound lane.“
When stopped, she opened her window and was holding what appeared to be a gold badge, according to the police report.
At first Delahoz refused to open the door. She eventually did. When asked for her license, she replied, “I’m on the Central Falls City Council and mumbled that this is was not her car,“ according to the police report.
The arresting officer saw a 10-year-old boy sleeping in the back seat of the car.
The officer said Delahoz smelled of alcohol. According to the report, she told the officer she had three glasses of wine.
According to police, she failed all of the field sobriety tests and refused a chemical test.
NBC 10’s attempts to contact Delahoz at her home were unsuccessful.

being a central falls resident, i sure hope she will be removed from any and all positions she has with central falls. and i sure do hope that dcf is involved! putting that child never mind anyone else on the road that night in danger. being on the council doesnt make her special! she should (no noone should) get special treatment just because.. and for her to assume she would makes me wonder how many times she has gotton away with it….. makes you think huh. i would like to see what the mayor thinks in this situation?
After reading the police report, I am wondering will the City solicitor bill the city or de la dum (hoz) for the phone call.
Why does she have a badge and what does it say besides abuse of power. That is Moreau sign must rubbed off on the city council. Maybe she knows nothing will happen by the city look at the officer who has been arrested for domestic violence and been promoted after that 2 times. Just ususual politics in CF.
the fact she immediately flashed her city council badge shows you the nerve of public officials in RI. They must take a class that teaches them what to do when caught dui after leaving Twin River!!
We are all human, poor or rich we all behave the same mostly, besides criminals….

What did the badge say I’m an IDOIT. I think she should be immediately let go from City Council. I hope DCYF is stepping in just like they did with the other woman caught drunk with a child in the car. To think she had the nerve to try to use the fact she was on the city council, all the more reason she should have been embarrassed.
This is a Central Falls tradition. Council people arrested for dui, sex charges against kids 2 years ago, Personel director arrested for dui 2 years ago. Why was her license suspended? Wasn’t she charged with that as well? What about child endangerment?
What is annoyingly blatant is her thinking she’ll get preferential treatment because she’s a high-ranking authority the likes of Patrick Kennedy! Imagine! The nerve…
