A Central Falls city councilwoman is accused of drunken driving.CRANSTON, R.I.—A Central Falls city councilwoman is accused of drunken driving.
Eunice Delahoz was arrested by Lincoln police on Friday night. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense.

According to the police report, Delahoz was pulled over near Great Road and Smithfield Avenue because officers saw her “traveling on the double yellow line with two tires in the northbound lane and two tires in the southbound lane.“
When stopped, she opened her window and was holding what appeared to be a gold badge, according to the police report.
At first Delahoz refused to open the door. She eventually did. When asked for her license, she replied, “I’m on the Central Falls City Council and mumbled that this is was not her car,“ according to the police report.
The arresting officer saw a 10-year-old boy sleeping in the back seat of the car.
The officer said Delahoz smelled of alcohol. According to the report, she told the officer she had three glasses of wine.
According to police, she failed all of the field sobriety tests and refused a chemical test.
NBC 10’s attempts to contact Delahoz at her home were unsuccessful.

BeReal. Your knee-jerk reaction is telling. I now know for sure this woman is either your mother, sister, or cousin. Because someone calls her a loser because she drove, driving on a suspended license, being a lush with a ten-year old innocent child asleep in the back seat, being pulled over, lie about the car, try to hide behind a city badge, isn’t “kicking someone when they’re down”. She’s down because she threw herself there, and she obviously loves being in the mud. There is no defense for her. She has to “man up” and grow up before she kills someone. The only one responsible for where she is is HER. If you choose to emulate her, that’s your business, but stay out of Pawtucket. I don’t want you on any road my family is on.

BeReal, be honest. You know that I’m right. All you have to do is look it up. Tell me ... this drunk driver must be a family member. That’s the only explanation. Sorry about that, but making excuses for her doesn’t make her behavior right. She is held to a higher standard because she represents people like you. You might like a drunk as a representative, but I sure don’t. Bad enough we have Patrick Kennedy, the poster boy for bad behavior. Now we have this woman, a poster girl for bad behavior.

This woman put herself in a public position knowing anything she does will be scrutinized. Too me she made two major mistakes. Driving drunk and endangering the life of a child in that car. She deserves no sympathy or support. If the Mayor of the town has a brain she will be let go period.

BeReal: I like to assume the best of people, so I’ll assume you’re being argumentative and childish because you like to stir the pot and run, and not because you are a twelve-year old. You had better get your facts straight, though, if you want to appear somewhat intelligent. This is NOT her first offense. She had two prior charges against her - one that she lost her license over (she was driving on a suspended license - do you suppose it suspended itself perhaps?).
Plain and simple TAKE HER POSITION AWAY.
She is a dirty politician in a dirty city.
