Corrections officer killed in motorcycle crash

A corrections officer on his way to work at the ACI was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash in Cranston.
Police said Steven Johansen, 47, of Coventry, died of injuries Monday, one day after his motorcycle crashed into a car on New London Avenue.
The driver of the car, William Gaess, 45, of Cranston, was not hurt.
