WARWICK, R.I.—Mario Lopez of “Extra” appeared at the Warwick Mall Wednesday morning, signing autographs and taking pictures with local fans.

Only the people who brought at least one nonperishable food item for donation to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank were able to get in line to meet Mario. Fans actually began arriving as early at 10 a.m. to lineup to meet the star.
His appearance was just 90 minutes before taking off for the NBC 10 Studios where Mario participated in a Live Chat during the NBC 10 News at Noon. Following the chat, it was off again!
About 60 guests attended a private luncheon with Mario Lopez at Aspire Restaurant in downtown Providence. Guests included WJAR advertisers, turnto10.com contest winners and NBC10 employees.
Then it was back to the studio for some interviews and promotions at Channel 10. He was a very busy guy and those who got to meet him were full of smiles!
