ATTLEBORO, Mass.—There is an update on the dozens of cats found more than a week ago in an Attleboro home.

More than 40 cats were taken in after their owner contacted the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter.

The owner told the shelter that his home was foreclosed on and he could no longer take care of the animals.

Officials say all of the cats have received their vaccinations and several are expected to be spayed or neutered this week.

A 30-foot trailer was donated to house the cats until permanent homes can be found.

If you’d like to help you can contact the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter.
