Case against caretaker dismissed

The case against a former caretaker who was accused of assaulting a disabled woman was dismissed, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office said Wednesday.

Mandy Blake, of Westport, Mass., spent 19 days in jail after a woman in a wheelchair made assault accusations over money.

The district attorney’s office said the case was dismissed because the accuser refused to answer questions about the alleged assault.
