Car collides with police cruiser
A police car is involved in a two-car crash in Smithfield.

SMITHFIELD, R.I.—A driver lost control of her car and crashed into a police cruiser Wednesday morning, Smithfield police said.
The crash happened about abut 9 a.m. on Route 7.
Both drivers were hurt, but not seriously.
