Brown U readies for visit from Pervez Musharraf

PROVIDENCE - The former military ruler of Pakistan, forced out of his job last year, has a visit planned to Brown University.
Former President Pervez Musharraf has been invited to speak on Tuesday to the Brown University Lecture Board, a student group.
Musharraf was forced to resign after his party lost elections in 2008. Since then, he’s given several speeches at think tanks and universities around the world.
His talk, on the topic of leadership experiences, will only be open to people who hold a Brown ID.
