Boy Scout food drive set for Saturday

» 2 Comments | Post a Comment

The Boy Scouts will be collecting food donations on Saturday.

It’s the 22nd Annual Scouting For Food Drive.

Items collected will go to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank where the need for donated items is up by 30 percent from last year.
The scouts collected 300,000 pounds of food in the last food drive.

If you did not receive a bag, you can still drop off food in collection boxes at Walgreens stores.

Even if you can only give one or two items it is better than nothing.
