Basement flooding forces school dismissal

PROVIDENCE—The Bishop McVinney Elementary School in Providence dismissed students at 9:30 a.m. Friday due to flooding in the school’s basement.
School officials said an announcement on whether the school will reopen Monday will be made over the weekend.
