Woman wanted in 6 New England robberies

WINDSOR, Conn. — A Connecticut woman is being sought for questioning in a series of bank robberies in southern New England last week.
Police describe 34-year-old Heather Brown of Norwich as a person of interest in six robberies, one each day, beginning on Monday in Montville. Police belive the same robber struck banks in Westerly, R.I., Middletown, West Springfield, Mass, East Hartford, and Windsor.
In each case, a woman told the teller she had a bomb, and left with cash.
No explosives have been found and no injuries reported.
Brown is on probation after serving a 30-month sentence for a 2006 bank robbery in Groton.
