CONCORD, N.H.—Prosecutors in Massachusetts say the woman found with an infant who had been cut out of her friend’s womb had convinced her family and friends that she was pregnant.
Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. says Julie Corey’s boyfriend told authorities that Corey was nine months’ pregnant.
The body of Corey’s friend, Darlene Haynes, was found Monday in her Worcester apartment by her landlord. Haynes was eight months’ pregnant.
Corey had the 4-pound baby girl with her when she was arrested at a shelter in Plymouth, N.H., Wednesday. She is charged with kidnapping, but has not been charged in Haynes’ murder. She is being held on $2 million bail in New Hampshire.
Early said authorities are still investigating whether anyone else was involved.

I have 2 plans for criminals—first one would be put them all on a deserted island, no food or water, give each of them guns—whoever is left wins the island to live on. The second plan (to me, the better one) is to get all of our law abiding men and women out od Iraq and whever else they are, and send these idiots in their place. If they are bent on killing, at least we’d get a bang for our buck. (no pun intended)
Smitty you are dead on. Samstarr thinks I’m violent because I believe in an eye for an eye. I wouldn’t and never have hurt anyone. I don’t like violence at all, I’m just thinking it would be a deterent for violent criminals if they knew what was in store for them when they get caught.
Before another comment is made, I’m going to expand on what I said in my last post. “.....violence begets violence, and if the criminals would believe that, there would be less crime.“
By that, I meant that if criminals would be treated the same way they treated their victims when they’re in prison, they wouldn’t commit the crimes.
Samstarr, you’re right—violence begets violence, and if the criminals would believe that, there would be less crime.
Instead, what the criminals see prison as is a hotel where a person is restricted—they can’t check out—but otherwise they have televisions, canteens, and more rights and privileges than law abiding citizens on the outside have—and its all paid for by the people on the outside!
THAT IS WHAT ‘PRISON’ HAS BECOME, THANKS TO THE BLEEDING HEART LIBERALS IN THIS COUNTRY, LIBERALS LIKE YOURSELF WHO PREACH THAT AN EYE FOR AN EYE DOES NOT WORK.

I have to agree with smitty. Let the punishment fit the crime. Death by the electric chair if you murder someone. If you rape, rob or beat someone bring back the old chain gangs. Take away the Tv’s, gyms, & computers. I don’t see how a prisoner should have rights. They violated someone they should be violated also. I think some like to go to jail because its easier to live & be take care of.
