11 Arrested In Child Porn Ring
Police say they've taken down a major child pornography ring operating in Rhode Island.

SCITUATE, R.I.—State, federal and local law enforcement agencies announced the arrests of 11 people, including two juveniles, involved in what they called a major child pornography ring operating in Rhode Island.
The 11 people were arrested Tuesday as part of an investigation into on-line trading of pornographic images of children. Police carried out search warrants in nine Rhode Island communities, including Providence and Newport.
More than a dozen law enforcement agencies took part in the bust.
The suspects were arraigned Tuesday in district court, and two 17-year-olds were referred to juvenile court.
State Police Capt. David Neill said the suspects had a combination of photographs and videos. He said some of the images were “horrific”.
Police said one person that was charged, John Hathaway, 32, of Warwick, was one of the nation’s top child pornography traders.
Police said they seized dozens of computers from those arrested and will search the machines to see if additional charges can be made.

There’s tons of level II and III offenders living among us statewide. The ones the Cranston residents recently protested were living right beside an elementary school also.
The reason Cranston lists so many sex offenders is they are all at the ACI. The number of them actually living in the community is thankfully much lower.
The Projo listed the main perpetrator as living at 134 Ardway Ave in Warwick, and being the number one most-wanted child pornographer in the country.
