Wrong way driver triggers fatal crash

One person is killed in a mutli-car crash in Dartmouth.

DARTMOUTH, Mass.—A wrong way driver caused a four-vehicle crash on Route 195 in Dartmouth, killing a 46-year-old New Bedford woman.
Police said late Wednesday that two other drivers suffered minor injuries in the crash, including the 21-year-old wrong way driver they identified as Dakota Jones of Marston Mills.
She has been charged with motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, marked lanes violation and speeding.
Police say Jones was driving west when her car crossed the median strip and struck a Ford Mustang driven by the New Bedford woman, who was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was being withheld pending family notification.
Her vehicle was pushed into a third car that rolled and struck a fourth vehicle.
There was no immediate information on whether Jones has legal representation.

and of course, inquiring minds DO wanna know (what reason these crazy drivers are on the road in the first place)! 
Is it me or does this haopppen alot. lots of times i see articles were drivers go the wrong way and kill someone. and its never the guilty person that dies. its always the person that was drunk or high or whatever they live , and the innocent victim dies. all the time i hear theses things happening .wrong way driver kills person .
i too was just making an accusation for conversation sake. I’m sure it will eventually come out. Its just soo sad that an innocent victim is involved. Prob coming home from work or something. (again another accusation) I hope she gets plenty of jail time. At 21 she is just beginning her life. Now she just ended it. Good Job!
So I was just on ABC6’s website, and was looking at this same story…the concensus over there, according to the bloggers, seems to be that the girl (Jones) who hit the mustang and is being charges with vehicular homicide amoung other charges was quite the drug user/abuser! So that could be the reason…
i’m sure theres more . i was just giving my 2 cents on a possibility if she was going fast she might not have been able to stop. i dont know
I cannot believe this! The article states “Her name was being withheld pending family notification.“ Well, Channel 10 already identifed her - it was on earlier. I hope her family didn’t find out by reading this on-line.
Los…yes—that is very possible, however I still think there is more to this story than meets the eyes because they have already charged her with vehicular homicide! It’ll come out adventually.
Considering this is still a new story, I will be keeping a look out for an update on this one!
depends how fast she was going too , she could have crossed that grass pretty quickly and skidded if she tried to brake on wet grass .
