Truck’s cargo strikes bridge, cars
LINCOLN, R.I. -- A dump truck's cargo hit an overpass on Route 146 in Lincoln on Monday.
Police said the truck was carry scrap metal, which struck the Wilber Avenue Bridge as it was driving underneath.
Some of the scrap metal flew out and struck three cars, injuring one person.
Experts inspected the bridge and said there was no structural damage.
