FALL RIVER, Mass. -- A 71-year-old man was arrested after police said he accosted three women and propositioned them for sex.

Dinis Costa was charged with indecent assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police arrested Costa after an alleged incident June 12 in Bicentennial Park. Costa is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl and making what police said were "inappropriate sexual gestures".

Costa was later arrested while throwing rocks at police and witnesses.

Police said they believe that there are more victims.

"Major crimes detectives learned of another incident that occurred approximately one month earlier where the same individual accosted a 32-year-old woman, (made) inappropriate comments to engage sex for a fee," said Sgt. Paul Bernier of the Fall River Police Department. "Moments earlier (he had) approached and accosted another young female (who was) about 14-years-old."
