WARWICK, R.I. -- Warwick police have an arrest warrant for a suspect accused of carjacking a woman, and then driving her to Providence and raping her.

Police on Wednesday said the suspect is 27-year-old Saul Pizzarro-Aviles. His last known address is in Providence.

Police said the attack happened Sunday night at a supermarket parking lot.

Surveillance video showed the suspect entering then leaving the Super Stop and Shop on Quaker Lane. Police said he changed his shirt before he left the store.

Police said the suspect, who was armed with a knife, forced his way into the driver's seat of an idling vehicle. The woman was sitting in the passenger's seat.

Her mother was shopping inside the store at the time.

Police said the suspect drove the vehicle to Roger Williams Park in Providence, where he assaulted the woman. She reported that her attacker fled on foot.
