The attorney general in Massachusetts is filing a lawsuit against 15 people and corporations accused of involvement in a dental finance scheme.

Two of the dentists were subjects of NBC 10 I-Team consumer investigations.

Gary Anusavice is accused of leading the scheme. The suit claims he and others left hundreds of patients with dental problems and debt after closing offices in Fall River and Weymouth.

Anusavice surrendered his license in Rhode Island. It was revoked in Massachusetts.

Also named in the lawsuit is William Salisbury, who’s accused of not finishing work on patients who saw him in Weymouth.

In April, he agreed not renew his license in Massachusetts and to pay $20,000 to help distribute patient records.
