Cranston police have arrested an alleged cyberstalker.

Ann Bruno, a local costume shop owner, is accused of using a computer to harass a competitor.  (Read complete story.)

NBC 10’s Jim Taricani attempted to question her about it in what turned out to be an unusual interview.

@HeavyDuty:

The Internet has been around for a while now. Most people realize that they can use it for discussion.

Anyway, this story is about a woman dancing around in a bunny suit on television. The fact that irishlass decided to comment on the story as well as take the time to respond to your post…well…that says something. The fact that you commented on an article you didn’t even read is almost as ridiculous as Ann Bruno. You probably don’t feel like the freshest carrot in the produce section right now so you’re lashing out at people who disagree with you.

Oh, and uh, this post is supplied for educational purposes only.

Heavyduty:  I did comment on the story, I was simply saying that apparently you did not read it seeing that you were implying that Mr. Taricani was stalking Ms. Bruno.  Easter Bunny or Bootsie(aka Ms. Bruno) accepted Jim Taricani’s invitation to do an interview. Ms. Bruno WAS NOT invited to do what she did to Tracy Sisson. Therefore, she is the only stalker in this story.

PS:  I think Heavyduty is really Ms. Bruno IN DISGUISE (pun intended), or maybe a relative.

Irishlass, you are supposed to comment on the story, not the comments.
Do you normally go around picking on strangers?
BTW: That is a rhetorical question, since you are not supposed to respond to it…. since it is not the story.

To HeavyDuty:  Did you read the article?

“Bruno told the I-Team to meet her at her store on Pocassett Avenue in Providence to get her side of the story.“

The madwoman wanted an interview.  And when the I-Team got there, all she did was put on a show.

She needs to be put away.

Stalk(stôk): To go through (an area) in pursuit of prey or quarry.

—Well, by that definition, isn’t this reporter doing Physically what he is Assuming she did electronically? Guess the microphone makes it OK…. Wonder if she has a computer microphone?

I think it is hilarious that Jim is in her store and he asks her to take off her mask.  The crime of ‘cyber stalking’ is almost impossible to prove.  If Ann Bruno lets a tech savvy lawyer, they’ll be able to show reasonable doubt that she did anything.

I don’t think she’s smoking anything. I think she woke up this morning and poured herself a great big ole glass of crazy juice with a twist of zany.

I think all those costumes drove her mad!

Oh my - I hope the Cranston police keep an eye on her, and are taking steps to safeguard Ms. Sisson’s safety.

This woman needs help!  I feel bad for Ms. Sisson…I would be afraid of this psycho too!
