AAA offered $5 for every seat turned in as part of National Child Passenger Safety Week.
AAA says thousands of youngsters are saved each year with properly installed care safety seats. AAA is giving out child passenger safety kits to doctors' offices in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
They include recommendations for keeping your child safe on the road.
