CHARLESTOWN, R.I. – Some of the Lost Boys are actually Lost Girls.

To prepare for roles in “Peter Pan” at Theatre By The Sea, three teen actresses had their hair cut and donated it to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, which turns the hair into wigs for cancer patients.

Lauren Avarista of Narragansett, Cassie Collinson of West Kingston, and Caroline Jackson of Marlborough, CT each donated between 10-12 inches of hair and are now performing in the Ocean State Theatre Company’s show.

“Peter Pan” runs in Matunuck until August 8.

NBC10 is a sponsor of the Theatre By The Sea season.
