A local non-profit school for the performing arts is a Champion in Action.

Everett Dance Theatre received a check for $25,000 on Monday.

The group runs the Carriage House School in Providence where more than 150 high school students learn about writing, theatre, dance and media production.

NBC 10 and Citizens Bank work together to reward Champions in Action.
