Refuse collection rules:
1. Loose garbage will not be picked up.
2. No container may weigh over 75 lbs and all containers must be equipped with proper handles.
3. Oil drums are prohibited.
4. Tree limbs and wood must be no longer than 4 ft. in length. It must be tied and bundled. Wood must be free of nails and hardware.
5. Rugs must be no longer than 4 ft. in length, tied and bundled.
6. No sand, dirt, sod, rocks, demolition lumber, broken concrete, asphalt, plaster, tile, brick or other construction material will be collected.
7. No automobile or motorcycle parts. No tires, motor oil or hazardous liquids.
8. Metal items must be prescheduled for pickups.
9. Trash is to be put out no sooner than 24 hrs. of pick up day.
10. No full paint cans. Latex paint can be recycled in your blue bin after the paint is dry. Oil paint can be disposed of by calling Eco Depot at 942-1430.
11. Computers and all computer equipment should not be put out with your trash. Call Eco Depot at 942-1430 to find out dates and times.

Recycling rules:
BLUE BIN
The blue bin is used for recycling the following items: Metal cans, glass bottles, glass jars, plastic bottles, plastic jars, drink cartons.
To give yourself more room in the bin, crush and flatten the plastic cans and jugs.
The following items cannot be put in your bins: hypodermic needles, broken glass, mirrors, dishes, frozen food boxes, soda or beer packaging, styrofoam, frozen food containers.

GREEN BIN
The green bin is used for recycling the following items: mail, envelopes, paperback books, magazines, hardcover books minus the covers, computer paper, shredded paper, newspaper, thin cardboard, pasta boxes, cereal boxes, shoe boxes.
Please place all paper products in a paper bag before placing in the green bin.
This keeps the loose paper from blowing out of the bins and trucks.
Newspaper can be placed in bags or tied in small bundles.
Cardboard boxes must be no longer or wider than 3 ft. It must be flattened and tied in small bundles no thicker than 12".
Clothing is also recyclable. Place in a plastic bag and flatten and mark the bag as clothing.
The following items cannot be put in your bins: soda or beer packaging, pizza boxes, plastic bags, paper towels, tissue paper.
