NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.—There’s a new eight-legged creature at the Biomes Marine Biology Center in North Kingstown.
Its name is Ruby and she is an octopus. She was captured by volunteer collectors.
Visiting students named the octopus Ruby because of the red spot behind her eye.
