Take a look at some of our news time slots that worked, and ones that didn't.Before the 1980’s, if you wanted to watch local news on WJAR-TV weekdays, you had three choices—noon, 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.
That changed in 1980, when TV station executives saw the need for more local news, and started experimenting with new time slots.
