The Rhode Island Department of Health said Friday that four students at Lincoln Middle School have tested postive for E. coli.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will send an investigator to the school Monday to interview students, parents and staff members who attended an event at Camp Bournedale in Plymouth, Mass.

More than a dozen students became ill, and two are hospitalized.

Health Department officials said E. coli is not typically spread from person to person.
